looking for a Gibson LP Deluxe 1977 Gold Top

For my 30st birthday, I have decided to buy a vintage guitar. The one of my dream is a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe model with a characteristic Gold Top. From 1977 to match my birth year.

 

So far, I have been to music row on 48th street, to Matt Umanov in Greenwich Village and to Guitar Center on 14th st.  (and on ebay).

 

If you know where I can find this beauty around NY for a decent price (I haven't found a price tag under USD 3300), please post a comment. Meanwhile, I'm still looking for a Gibson LP Deluxe 1977 Gold Top.

Out of Australia

I'm leaving Australia in 30 mins. Writing this from the Qantas Business Lounge, gazing at the view of Sydney skyline. There hasn't been such a great weather in days but yesterday was great as well and I'll remember my last surfing sessions probably forever. I'm leaving when I was just getting good. or sort of. I'll have to come back, but for the time being, I'm Out of Australia.

I'm just back from Bondi beach were I have had fabulous day of surfing.

I'm going to miss this in NY, especially the sun setting down over Bondi with the light going through the waves.

Will I be back soon? Who knows. For the moment this is my last wave.
